Rekeying is a cost-effective way to guarantee that no one but you has keys to your new home, without you having to have the locks changed.
Why should I rekey my new home?
Rekeying the locks in your new home gives you peace of mind by guaranteeing that no one but you has keys to your home. It’s impossible to know who may have a key to your home or how many copies there may be circulating. If it’s an older home, you can’t be sure how many keys the former owners had or distributed to friends and family. The same goes for new builds – it’s impossible to know how many contractors may have had keys in circulation.
